Alan D Baker was born in Sydney in 1914. He studied and later taught at the J S Watkins school. Examples of his work are held in the New South Wales Art Gallery, the National Gallery Canberra, the Queensland Institute of Technology, the Hinton Collection, Armidale NSW as well as many other private and corporate collection overseas and in Australia.
