Bill Coleman studied at RMIT and later under George Bell. He held many solo shows, where his very individualistic figure studies and streetscapes were always popular. Today his slightly abstract nude figure studies in particular are highly prized.
Bill won numerous awards and prizes during his lifetime and long career as an artist, and his works are represented in many galleries and collections here and overseas.
