Reshid Bey was born in Berlin of Australian-Turkish parents (his father was the Turkish ambassador) and came to Australia as a young man.
Bey studied in London Paris, and at the national gallery School in Melbourne. He also took private tuition under Alexander Colquhoun.
He is a member of the 20 Melbourne Painters Society and has exhibited widely including in Paris salons and with the British Portrait painters Society.
Represented: Institutional and private collections in Australia and overseas.
