Richard Bogusz was born in Germany and began painting professionally in 1971. An abstract painter in (mainly) acrylics, he is essentially a self taught artist. His typical imagery has become instantly recogniseable, and his output has been very prolific over the past 35 years. He is a regular exhibitor, and a number of galleries stock his works. Bogusz paintings on current gallery exhibition would cost you $2000+.
This is beautiful large work, completed in muted pastel tones, with the signature Bogusz textures achieved by working the paint extensively with the palette-knife and other tools.
Richard Bogusz works are collected extensively in private collections worldwide.
