Alun LEACH-JONES

Born in 1937, Alun Leach-Jones spent his childhood in North Wales. After moving to Australia he studied at the SA School of Art, later gaining an M.Dip. at the NGV School in Melbourne.
Leach-Jones has gained a high reputation in the Australian and international art arena.
He has been awarded numerous awards, prizes and commissions, and has taught at various institutions.
Alun has held about 50 solo exhibitions in Australia, UK, Europe and the USA, including a retrospective print exhibition at the New England Regional Art Museum. He has participated in many significant group print and painting exhibitions in Australian and other countries including Europe, Japan and USA.
Works are held in numerous state, egional, corporate and private collections.
