Born in Ballarat in 1956, David Larwill has held over 16 solo and 20 group exhibitions since 1987.
Larwill’s seemingly naiive (but in fact highly sophisticated) stylized representations have earned him a considerable reputation amongst collectors and galleries.
Works are represented in many private, corporate, and institutional collections. Works are also held in major public galleries such as the NGA, NGV, QAG, New England and Shepparton galleries.
A highly regarded and collected Australian contemporary artist.
