Antonio Muratore was born in 1947 in Calabria Italy, arrived Australia 1952.
Studied at Preston Institute Of Ttechnology; RMIT; Studies and teaching in India and Europe to 1985; Artist in Residence Loyola College 1985; Lecturer (Printmaking) RMIT to m1987; Resident artist at the Rigalto Print Studio in Umbria, Italy 1992.
Has held over 30 solo and group shows in Australia and participated in shows in London, UK.
Awards include Diamond Valley and a commission to paint prtrait of Gordon Bryant MHR.
represented: Artbank; QVMAG; Museum Of Modern Art New Delhi; QAG; Melbourne City Council; institutional and private collections in UK, India, Europe, Australia.
