Robert Miller was a highly regarded exhibiting member of the VAS and Australian Watercolour Institute. He became well known for his (usually large) atmospheric watercolours.
Miller trained at RMIT under John Rowell and Napier Waller.
Miller held his first solo exhibition in 1972 after exhibiting with the VAS for a number of years, and working in industry as a designer.
Miller won around 70 watercolour awards, including numerous wins at Camberwell Rotary and the Bright Art Festival (4 times).
REPRESENTED: National Gallery Canberra, Bendigo and other regional galleries, corporate and private collections in Australia and overseas.
